| Wassail with Spiced Rum
1/2 gallon apple cider
1 pint cranberry juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 t. whole allspice
3 cinnamon sticks
1 whole lemon studded with cloves
orange slices
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 1/2 cup Captain Morgans Private Reserve spiced rum
Combine all ingredients in large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for a few hours.
Add the alcohol towards the end so that it keeps its potency.
Yield: 3 quarts
