Rounding out a full menu of wellness and fitness services, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa added a full spa to its slopeside Jackson Hole property in Winter 2005, complementing the Lodges existing body treatment services, fitness center, and outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs. The new Mountain Lodge Spa offers the full range of massages, body treatments, facials and other spa services.

In addition, the Mountain Lodge Spa operates as a green facility, employing organic skincare and treatment products, organic cotton towels in treatment rooms, recycled paper products and energy reduction measures.

The Mountain Lodge Spa offers four treatment rooms: a hydroptherapy room with a vichy shower, a couples treatment room with a fireplace and facial capabilities, two other treatment rooms, each with facial capabilities, as well as a guest reception and waiting area. In addition, the Lodge has added mens and womens steam rooms, locker rooms and showers in an area that connects the spa with the propertys fitness center, swimming pools and hot tubs. The new Mountain Lodge spa is located on the south end of the building on the main floor. The entire spa-fitness center complex totals 5,000 square feet.

When we designed the spa, we also wanted to take the body treatment selection up a few notches, so we also created some signature treatments, such as the Snake River Hot Stone and Arnica Massage, which uses locally grown arnica and river stones from the region to create a local twist on the traditional hot-stone massage, said Spa Director McNeill Watson.

All facial services at the Mountain Lodge Spa exclusively use Jurlique organic products. The Lodge also offers several body treatments designed by Jurlique, including a treatment aimed at relieving the tiring effects of travel.

In the fitness area and pool complex, workout facilities are complemented by large windows that let in ample natural light. The Lodges fitness area includes an indoor pool and hot tub, weight-training equipment and aerobic fitness machines. An adjacent deck offers a separate outdoor heated pool and hot tub with views of Jackson Hole and the Teton Range. Mat for Yoga are available, as is mineral water in a cooler and fresh towels poolside.
