TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. (February 9, 2004) - Rounding out a full menu of body treatment and wellness services, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa recently opened a new spa in winter 2005. This month, the Mountain Lodge Spa at Jackson Hole announced several new signature body treatments that employ healing arnica oil harvested from the local mountain environment, as well as the addition Jurlique organic skin care products and treatments in many of the spa's offerings. New signature treatments include:

Snake River Hot Stone and Arnica Massage
The healing energy of heated stones collected from the Snake River Basin combine with locally harvested Arnica, which helps improve circulation, to relax tight muscles, relieve sore joints, aid muscle recovery, and evoke a deep sense of calm. 70 minutes, $145. 100 minutes $185.

Teton Arnica Sports Massage and Wrap
Start off with a Peak Performance Sport-Specific Massage, targeted at relieving sore muscle groups after a day of skiing, snowboarding, hiking or the outdoor activity de jour. Then combine the benefits of massage with the tranquility of a hot herbal wrap using locally harvested arnica oil, which relaxes muscles and relieves soreness. 60-minute massage, followed by 50-minute wrap, $195.

In addition, all facial services at the Mountain Lodge Spa now use exclusive Jurlique organic products. The Lodge also offers several body treatments designed by Jurlique, including a treatment aimed at relieving the tiring effects of travel.

Jurlique Traveler's Recovery Treatment
Using Jurlique's unique Travel Blend essential oil, this treatment was created to alleviate the unnatural stress on the body and psyche that follows a day of travel. The Aromatic Hydrating Concentrate relaxes, hydrates and prepares the skin for deep cleansing, then a Tea Tree Body Exfoliating Mask cleanses the body with anti-oxidants, gathering damage causing free radicals, as it deep cleanses and feeds the skin with vital nutrients. 50 minutes, $130.

Along with offering Jurlique organic products in body treatments, the Mountain Lodge Spa, which offers the full range of massages, body treatments, facials and other spa services, operates as a "green" facility, using organic cotton towels in treatment rooms, recycled paper products and energy reduction measures.

The new Mountain Lodge Spa offers four treatment rooms: a hydrotherapy room with a vichy shower, a couples' treatment room with a fireplace and facial capabilities, two other treatment rooms, each with facial capabilities, as well as a guest reception and waiting area. In addition, the Lodge has added men's and women's steam rooms and locker rooms in an area that connects the new spa with the property's fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The new Mountain Lodge spa is located on the south end of the building on the main floor. The entire spa-fitness center complex totals 5,000 square feet.

"While good wellness and body work are founded on the skills offered by the highly qualified therapists here at the Lodge, this new facility offers the setting, experience and full range of equipment necessary for the staff to really take their craft to the next level," said Spa Director McNeill Watson, a nationally certified therapist who specializes in sports massage and soft-tissue injury rehabilitation.
