TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. (February 1, 2005) - This summer, juxtapose three body treatments at Jackson Hole's newest spa with two days spent outdoors hiking, horseback riding or fly-fishing amidst the rugged Teton Range with the SPORT & SPA Package at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. The package starts at $872 per person based on double occupancy.
The three-night SPORT & SPA Package includes three spa treatments each for two people, tickets to the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram for quick access to hiking trails at 10,000 feet in Grand Teton National Park, a guided horseback day trip, three nights in a Lodge Room or Alpine Studio Suite, and breakfast each day at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa's Cascade Grill House & Spirits. Travelers can upgrade the horseback outing to a full day of guided fly-fishing on the Snake River for an additional $97 per person.
ARRIVAL DAY: Upon arrival, start the vacation in the right frame of mind by settling in with the Traveler's Recovery Treatment. Using Jurlique's unique Travel Blend essential oil, this 50-minute wrap is designed to alleviate stress and promote wellness.
DAY TWO: Take the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram, located just out the Lodge's back door, to 10,000 feet in the Teton Range. From there, hikers can do a short circuit beneath Cody Peak and then take the tram back down, or they can hike a longer route into Grand Teton National Park's high country, returning either to the Tram or descending through the park back to Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. Then, get the kinks worked out after the day on the trail with the Lodge's signature Snake River Hot Stone and Arnica Massage. Heated stones collected from the Snake River Basin combine with locally harvested Arnica, which improves circulation, to help to relax tight muscles and relieve sore joints.
DAY THREE: Enjoy a guided horseback outing in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, which surrounds Jackson Hole, or a full day of guided fly-fishing on a drift boat on the Snake River (fly-fishing is a $97 upgrade per person). At the end of the day, so vacationers return looking and feeling their best, an Anti-Aging/Antioxidant or Active Men's Facial offer relaxation combined with the best skin treatment. The Anti-Aging/Antioxidant Facial addresses the dry, high-altitude climate in Jackson Hole and also treats and nourishes skin with natural anti-oxidants. The Active Men's Facial features an anti-oxidant facial and steam wrap.
All treatments take place at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa's new 5,000-square-foot Mountain Lodge Spa and Fitness Center. The spa, which includes a couples' treatment room and a hydroptherapy room, opened in December 2004 and offers the full range of massages, body treatments, facials and other spa services. In addition, the Mountain Lodge Spa operates as a "green" facility, employing Jurlique organic skincare and treatment products, organic cotton towels in treatment rooms, recycled paper products and energy reduction measures.
Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa's SPORT & SPA Package is valid from May 28 to Sept. 5, 2005. It does not include tax and is based on availability.
