TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. (July 19, 2005) - A new spa that operates with a “green” philosophy. A no-cost outdoor equipment loaner program called the Gear Closet which ensures that skiing and snowboarding guests have access to the proper winter apparel and gear. Spa treatments designed for skiers and snowboarders by skiing and snowboarding therapists who know what works from spending time on the slopes themselves.

For winter 2005-2006, there are a lot of new offerings at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. And the slopeside Jackson Hole property is capping off its winter plans with two ski- and snowboard-specific travel packages.

Tip Top Tune Package – maximum tuning for bodies and boards

Skis and snowboards need regular tune ups, and so do skiers and snowboarders. With that concept as the guiding principle, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa unveils the Tip Top Tune Package, which offers four nights slopeside at Jackson Hole’s Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, three days of skiing or snowboarding at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, breakfast each day, and a thorough tune-up for both boards and body. While the front desk takes care of getting skis or snowboards in top shape for the next day of riding, guests receive a ski- or snowboard-specific tune-up at the new Mountain Lodge Spa, which opened in winter 2005. The package starts at $690 per person (based on double occupancy) and varies according to dates of stay.

On the day of choice, schedule a professional ski or board tune (a multi-belt base grind, side-edge bevel and sharpening, a base-edge bevel and hot wax) with the front desk, as well as a visit to the spa for a Skiers'/Riders' Tune-Up Massage, a new treatment developed for winter 2005-2006. The treatment was developed by skiing and snowboarding therapists, who know from both their work and their recreation what works to relax other skiers and snowboarders. Depending on whether the guest is a skier or a snowboarder, therapists tailor the treatment to specific muscle groups with the guidance of collective information developed from the insight that can come only from being skiers or snowboarders themselves.

Skier’s Dream Package – do you dream of snow in July?

Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa’s best-selling winter package since the property opened three winters ago, the Skier’s Dream is the deal for those who find themselves thinking snow in July. It includes four nights slopeside at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, three days of lift tickets at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and daily breakfast at the Lodge ’s Cascade Grill House – all the basics for those who want to focus on maximum time out on Jackson Hole’s slopes. The Skier’s Dream Package starts at $550 per person (based on double occupancy) and varies according to dates of stay.

Home Away From Home Package – why sacrifice comfort on a family trip?

Spending time with the family on vacation means having enough space to spread out – and not having to mind all of the details. Get a head start on a winter vacation in Jackson Hole with Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa’s Home Away From Home Package. With four nights in a one-bedroom condominium at Jackson Hole’s Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa as the base for a family winter adventure, as well as $100 stocked groceries in the kitchen upon arrival (just call in or e-mail a list in advance), there will be plenty of space for a family to spread out, enjoying a slopeside base camp for skiing or snowboarding and other mountain-country adventures. The package also includes three days of lift tickets for the parents, a sleigh ride for the whole family to nearby Solitude Cabin for dinner, and breakfast each day at the Lodge’s Cascade Grill House. For the kids, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa is located within several minutes’ walk from the Jackson Hole Kid’s Ranch, where age-specific ski lessons for children, day care and rentals are available under a wide variety of family programs (not included in package). The Home Away From Home Package starts at $565 per person (based on a family of four with two children age 10 or under) and varies according to dates of stay.

These packages are available from Dec. 3, 2005 to April 2, 2006 and do not include tax or resort fee.
