TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. (November 27, 2006) — This coming summer, Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, located slopeside in Jackson Hole, will become Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa by adding a new state-of-the-art, 16,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, along with a new wing of premier guest rooms and suites.
The new 10-room spa and building addition will offer amenities that are unique in the resort community of Teton Village – treatment rooms with balconies and windows, an indoor rooftop motion studio for yoga, pilates and other activities, a 24-person outdoor rooftop hot tub, as well as outdoor rooftop event space. From atop the new five-story wing, the rooftop guest amenities, along with all of the new guest rooms in the new wing, will offer expansive views of the ski area, Teton Range and the Jackson Hole valley.
Slated to open July 1, 2007, the new Mountain Lodge Spa will allow Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa to offer a more comprehensive range of spa services including unique signature and couples treatments and extensive spa packages.
New spa amenities will include two couples' treatment rooms with fireplaces, in-room Jacuzzis and balconies, a wet treatment room with a vichy shower, manicure and pedicure facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, five separate hot tubs, steam rooms and Jacuzzis in each locker room, a pre- and post-treatment lounge, and a significantly expanded fitness room with state-of-the-art cardio machines and weight-training options. The expanded Mountain Lodge Spa will triple its current 5,000 square foot facility.
The new wing will be located off the southeast side of the building. The spa will be located on the first and second floors, with 17 new premier rooms and suites for guests located in floors above the spa. Each suite will feature a large balcony and excellent views of the ski area and Teton Range from the southwest section of the addition, views across the Jackson Hole valley from the south and southeast, and views into the heart of Teton Village from the North. In addition, two of the suites are being designed as "spa suites," offering enlarged bathrooms with upgraded spa products.
The new rooms increase the Lodge's total capacity from 128 to 145 guest rooms.
