For untracked powder aficionados, High Mountain Heli-Skiing and the Lodge have joined forces to offer the 'Passport to Jackson Hole' package, making Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa the exclusive lodging partner in Teton Village for High Mountain Heli packages.

The package is available in five- and seven-night options. The five-night 'Passport to Jackson Hole' offers two days of heli skiing in the mountains surrounding Jackson Hole and two days of skiing at the world-renowned Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, as well as slopeside accommodations each night starting at $2,543 per person (based on double occupancy). The seven-night 'Passport to Jackson Hole' package offers three days of heli skiing and three days at the ski resort, as well as slopeside accommodations each night starting at $3,702 per person (based on double occupancy). Prices are based on availability, and do not include taxes and resort fee.

Along with heli skiing, guests for Winter 2007-08 will find a major new on-property amenity, at the Lodge: the Solitude Spa. The state of the art, 16,000-square-foot, 3-story facility includes 10 treatment rooms, a fitness center, an enclosed rooftop motion studio for yoga and Pilates, as well an expansive deck with panoramic mountain views and a 24-person outdoor hot tub. The Spa menu includes the latest therapies and massage techniques, ideal for pre- and post- skiing restoration, peaceful rejuvenation, and maximum indulgence.

High Mountain Adventure Meets High Mountain Luxury

Jon Shick, owner of High Mountain Heli-Skiing, which flies south and east of Teton Village in the Snake River, Palisades, Gros Ventre, Hoback and Teton mountain ranges, was looking for an appropriate lodging partner in Teton Village, the base area for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Opened four years ago, the Lodge was created by former professional skier-turned-hotelier Rob DesLauriers, who with his wife, Kit, has skied around the world. Possessing an intimate understanding of the value of luxury in an adventure vacation, DesLauriers created a Lodge that was at once steeped in mountain culture and outfitted with sumptuous amenities and deluxe accommodations.

A day of skiing with High Mountain, which has been operating in Jackson Hole since 1974, consists of six runs totaling 12,000 to 15,000 vertical feet. Extra runs beyond that are available as well, and cost $80 per run per person. The day also includes lunch and transportation from the Lodge to and from the heli pad. Skiers are in groups of five to a guide, and High Mountain hosts a maximum of 20 skiers per day. Skiers must be at least 13 years old and considered strong skiers.

The 'Passport to Jackson Hole' package is available from January 1-March 30, 2007. It can be booked either through High Mountain Heli-Skiing or through Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa.
