JHMR Runs

This is a big time for us in Jackson Hole. The turkey food comas have worn off and now it’s time to get right into why we are all here at this time of year – to shred the snow-laden mountain.

That’s right, folks, it’s the first day of ski season in Teton Village. A time for us to dust off our boots, put on our skis and make our way up the mountain. Novice or expert, it doesn’t matter around here… You’ll find yourself surrounded by some of the most passionate, talented skiers on some of the most beautiful runs you have ever seen.

This ski season is marked with some exciting additions to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, including a new, high-speed Casper Lift that will reduce the ride time to the top from 10 minutes to 3.5 minutes, as well as a revamping of the Casper intermediate trails, which will widen and improve two of the runs.

As the ski day winds down, be sure to venture to local favorite, Cascade, for après ski cocktails. The restaurant itself is under renovation, opening in late December as Spur Restaurant & Bar, but the drinks and food will be flowing Fireside in the spectacular lobby.
