This summer, venture to the Village for a full menu of activities, events, and concerts. Grab one of our famous margs to-go from the Spur and stroll to a Concert on the Commons or fuel up on a Carter Country Beef Burger before the fat-tire fun of Friday Night Bikes.

Town Square Shootout

Every summer evening at 6pm is the Town Square Shootout, from Memorial Day through Labor Day – except Sundays. Free to the public. Spectators begin gathering on the northeast corner of Jackson’s Town Square beginning at about 5:30pm and enjoy ice cream and other refreshments available at businesses around the Square.

The Shootout is the longest continuously running gunfight in the United States and it is estimated that more than 4 million people have witnessed the Shootout through the years.

Concerts on the Commons

Every Sunday at 5:00 pm. Admission is free.

All events will be rain or shine, summer Teton Village storms pass though quickly, Concert on the Commons has only been stopped due to weather once in 7 years. Please leave dogs at home. Bring a light jacket, your smiles and your friends, and get ready for a great evening of free music!

Grand Teton Music Festival

July 3 – August 20, Walk Festival Hall

The Grand Teton Music Festival has celebrated the awe-inspiring community of Jackson Hole with exhilarating music since 1962. This summer’s visiting artists include world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and Grammy Award-wining mezzo-soprano, Kelley O’Connor. The Festival invites you to see the stars in Jackson Hole with regular performances each week.

  • Chamber music – Thursdays at 8:00 pm
  • Open rehearsal – Fridays at 10:00 am
  • Festival orchestra – Fridays at 8:00 pm & Saturdays at 6:00 pm

  • Patriotic Pops – July 4th
  • Fundraising gala with Yo-Yo Ma – August 1st

Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb

August 5

The most demanding hill climb-running event in the West! A little over 4100' vertical in just 6.1 miles, on nearly all single-track! This non-profit annual race is run in honor of longtime JHMR Aerial Tram mechanic Chris Onufer, who on March 7th 2012 tragically passed away in an avalanche. The course is 95% single-track all the way to the top of the world famous Aerial Tram! To keep the spirit of running alive for future generations, the Teton Trail Runners & Jackson Hole Mountain Resort donate 100% of race proceeds to local running organizations, all in the name of Chris Onufer.

$5000 cash purse!! $1000 each for top male/female finishers, $750 2nd overall male/female, $500 3rd overall male/female, $50 for top age group winners.

Solar Eclipse

August 21

Teton County Wyoming residents and visitors will have the opportunity to watch as the moon moves fully in front of the sun. This extraordinary moment marks the first total eclipse of the sun visible from all 48 contiguous United States since 1979 and the first visible from coast to coast in the US since 1918.

7th Annual Jackson Hole Marathon

September 2

The 7th Annual Jackson Hole Marathon will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Dreamchasers will present a day of fun, fitness and recreation in one of the most beautiful settings in the United States. Events include the Jackson Hole Marathon, The Hole Half-Marathon, and the Tyler Strandberg & Catherine Nix Memorial Marathon Relay.

Fall Arts Festival

September 6 – 17

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is widely recognized as one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain West. Please join us for the 33rd annual celebration. Thousands of art enthusiasts are drawn each year to experience the diverse artwork and breathtaking natural surroundings that make Jackson Hole a leading cultural center. Visitors will appreciate the works of nationally and internationally acclaimed artists along with an exceptional array of events featuring music, cuisine, and wine. More than fifty events round out our festival.
