Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa is slopeside at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, with direct access to the lifts and slopes, including the Bridger Gondola, so you don’t need a shuttle or car to reach the mountain. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort spans more than 2,500 acres with 4,139 feet of vertical, and about half its terrain is rated advanced or expert, which rewards strong intermediate skiers and above. After a day out, SpaTerre and the rooftop hot tub are inside the building, not a drive across town. Grand Teton National Park is about one mile from the door.

Guests have direct access to the lifts and slopes without a shuttle or car. The lodge is slopeside at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, steps from the base, and the Aerial Tram is an easy walk from the hotel, so you can leave the car parked for the week. Ski valet, storage and rentals are on site through Teton Village Sports, so you are not hauling gear across the village. The tram climbs 4,139 vertical feet in twelve minutes and runs daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, departing every fifteen minutes. The concierge will reserve your lift tickets, and many days sell out in advance.

Plenty, and most of it starts within a few minutes’ walk. The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Bike Park runs novice trails through advanced jump tracks, with a lift ticket at $44 or $118 including a rental. The Wildflower Trail climbs nearly five miles to Rendezvous Lodge, and the Bridger Gondola brings you back down for free. Via Ferrata is a guided climb across suspended bridges and granite walls for ages ten and up. There is also a disc golf course, tandem paragliding, a 25-foot ropes course and a climbing wall at the base of the Clock Tower.

The Aerial Tram climbs 4,139 vertical feet in twelve minutes and opens onto 360-degree views of the Tetons, the Jackson Hole valley and the ranges beyond. It runs daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, departing every fifteen minutes, and the last tram down leaves at 5:30 pm. Corbet’s Cabin at the summit serves its gourmet waffles until 4:30 pm. From June 15 to September 8 a sightseeing ticket also covers the Bridger Gondola and the Sweetwater Gondola, both 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the Evening Gondola from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Jackson Hole delivers 4,139 feet of continuous vertical across 2,500 acres of terrain, with runs for beginners and experts, though the mountain skews advanced: about half its terrain is rated advanced or expert. Beyond the lifts, the popular winter activities the concierge books are national park tours, wildlife safaris, snowmobiling, dog sledding, horseback and sleigh rides, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Grand Adventure Camp is the anchor for kids, running Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm between June 9 and August 29, split into Preschool for ages three to five and Grand Adventure for ages six to twelve, from $210 per child. For a group with different ages, the age and weight limits are worth knowing before you plan the day: the ropes course takes children from age five, Via Ferrata from ten, and the bungee trampoline and climbing wall take anyone over 40 pounds.
