PLEASE NOTE: Many of our more popular summer activities sell out far in advance. Our concierge team works with several local vendors to secure your preferred experiences, however due to high summer visitation you may need to look at alternative dates and activities.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Elevate your summer adventures while staying in Teton Village with an incredible itinerary of fun family-friendly experiences right out our doors. Scenic Aerial Tram rides open on May 18 then other resort activities open June 15 including the Bike Park, Via Ferrata, and Climbing Wall.
Pedal the Pathways
Once you arrive, a great way to get introduced to Jackson Hole is a ride on our extensive network of paved pathways linking Teton Village, the Town of Jackson, and Grand Teton National Park. Bike rentals, including pedal assist e-bikes, are available at area cycle shops.

Whitewater & Scenic River Trips
One of our most popular attractions for visitors and locals alike is the Snake River. Guided whitewater and scenic river trips offer either an adrenaline-pumping, exhilarating experience, or calmer option to take in the stunning surroundings and wildlife.
Fly Fishing
Set your hook in a large trout with an experienced outfitter on the pristine waters of the Snake River in a drift boat. Meet your guide at the hotel for your half or full day of instruction and fishing for an experience that is ideal for a solo angler or couple.
National Parks
Geysers, wildlife, and amazing views await as you explore Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks with an experienced local guide. Half and full day trips available.
Wildlife Safaris
Bison, bears, birds, and beaver join our other furry fauna friends in welcoming you on a Wildlife Safari in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Ride in a customized safari-style vehicle as your seasoned guide takes you to observe and photograph moose, elk, wolves, pronghorn, eagles and more.
Horseback Riding
You can’t visit the Cowboy State without saddling up for an authentic Western experience, highly recommended for families and small groups. Trail rides leave from Teton Village as well as wranglers offering rides in the parks and national forest while surrounded by stunning Teton views.
Hiking
Experience off-the-beaten-track solitude among stunning backdrops with a naturalist guide in the mountains surrounding Jackson Hole or in Yellowstone National Park.
Teton Mountain Lodge also serves as the perfect basecamp welcoming multi-day backpackers for pre- and post-hike comfort.
Mountain Biking
World-class mountain biking welcomes you throughout Jackson Hole. The resort’s lift-accessed mountain bike park is right out our door and certified Bike Guides can offer fat tire adventures on the extensive downhill and cross-country trail network.
Stand-Up Paddleboarding
One of the most serene and peaceful ways to experience our surrounding lakes and rivers, SUP rentals are a great activity for families or small groups.

Touring and Wildlife
With an idyllic location just one mile from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park and only an hour from Yellowstone National Park, visiting these iconic landmarks is easy.
Hire a tour guide and explore the valley, focusing on each animal’s unique ecosystem. Naturalists offer local knowledge and exclusive viewing opportunities.

Hiking and Mountain Biking
Hiking and mountain biking trails begin outside our door and extend into some spectacular land.
At the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, there is a seven-mile network of mountain bike trails to explore. The Teewinot chairlift enables you to hitch a ride with your mountain bike half-way up the mountain. You can also explore trails in the backcountry around Jackson Hole.
You can rent bikes and accessories from many shops in the area and set out on your own or hire guides for tips and instruction.
Specialty outfitters provide guided, half-day hiking or biking access through the hills and valleys of Jackson Hole. A guide will take you on stunning treks throughout the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Road Biking
With stunning backdrops, the variety of paved and dirt roads and trails throughout Jackson Hole are an excellent way to see the landscape. The National Elk Refuge Road or the extensive paved pathways that run throughout the Jackson Hole valley are ideal options. Our Concierge is well-versed in road rides, so be sure to inquire!
Jackson Hole from the Big Skies
Whether you choose to fly high in a hot air balloon or float peacefully in a paraglider or a glider plane, seeing Jackson Hole by air is an unforgettable experience. Take in the expansive valley from a bird’s eye view and marvel at the mountains, meandering rivers and lush landscape.
Horseback Riding
Horseback is the best way to experience the romance of the Old West, explore deep into the back country, and climb high into the mountains. See stunning scenery while evoking the Old West. There are many outfitters, most offering full- or half-day rides.
Golf
Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, showcases some of the area’s most breathtaking views. This semi-private club is consistently ranked number one in the state of Wyoming by Golf Digest magazine. Located just 20 miles from us, the club offers a pro shop, golf instruction, club rentals, driving range and putting green.
Teton Pines is a full-service, semi-private championship golf course offering tee boxes of varying levels, many water features and large greens. This 18-hole course, opened in 1987, was designed by Arnold Palmer. Located just 5 miles from the Lodge, the course offers a pro shop, golf instruction, club rentals, driving range and putting green.
Rafting, Kayaking & Watersports
The Snake River offers calm waters for scenic floating and a dramatic canyon for whitewater excitement. High alpine lakes and ponds are found among the mountain peaks and have their own opportunities for adventure.
When you rent kayaking equipment, you can head out on your own or enlist a guide. Choose between the exciting descent of the Snake River or the gliding serenity of the alpine lakes in Grand Teton National Park.
Fly Fishing
Home to some of the world’s best trout fishing, the lakes and streams around us feature rainbow, brown and lake trout and one of the few remaining populations of wild cutthroat trout. There are a number of rivers in the area for you to choose from – Snake, Henry’s Fork, Gros Ventre, Green,s and Madison, among others.
