Ski & Snowboard Lessons – Mountain Sports School
Whether you are looking to perfect your turn, explore some new terrain, or simply have someone guide your day- the resort’s Mountain Sports School has something for you.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. DATES MAY SELL OUT.
Due to limited availability, we recommend reserving your lessons as far in advance as possible. There are no waitlists for Mountain Sports School Lessons.
General Information
Lift tickets are NOT included (except for ages 3 & 4) and must be purchased before confirming lessons.
If you are renting equipment on the same morning as your lesson, please allow 45 minutes for the rental process in addition to the time needed to get to your lesson meeting place.
Don’t forget gloves & goggles!
Adult Group Lessons (ages 15+)
- Check-in by 9:45 a.m. at Solitude Station (first stop on Sweetwater Gondola) or by 9:30 a.m. at the Bridger Center Mountain Sports School desk, next to Café 6311
- Allow 15 minutes to load gondola and get to your meeting spot
- Use the Mountain Sports School line at Sweetwater Gondola
- All Adult Lessons are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Beginners & Intermediates meet at Solitude Station (first stop on Sweetwater Gondola)
- Skiers meet by the firepit at 9:45 a.m.
- Snowboarders meet by the black flags at 9:45 a.m.
- Advanced skiers meet at the top of Sweetwater Gondola at 9:45 a.m.
- Advanced snowboarders meet at 9:45 a.m. at the black flags on the Downrider side at Solitude Station
Explorers Group Lessons (ages 8 – 14)
- Check-in by 9:15 a.m. at Solitude Station (first stop on Sweetwater Gondola) or by 9 a.m. at the Bridger Center Mountain Sports School Desk, next to Café 6311
- Allow 15 minutes to load gondola and get to your meeting spot
- Use the Mountain Sports School line at Sweetwater Gondola
- All Explorer Lessons are from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Students are dropped off and picked up at the meeting location.
- Lunch is included.
- Skiers meet at the blue flags at Solitude Station
- Snowboarders meet at the black flags on the Downrider side of Solitude Station.
Rough Riders Group Lessons (ages 5 – 7)
- Check-in by 9 a.m. at the Kids Ranch Mountain Sports School desk, up the stairs and to the left of the Bridger Gondola
- Meet at Kids Ranch 9:15 – 9:30 a.m.
- All Rough Rider Lessons are from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Students are dropped off and picked up at the meeting location
- Lunch is included
Pioneers Group Lessons (ages 3 & 4)
- Check-in at 9 a.m. at the Kids Ranch Mountain Sports School desk, up the stairs and to the left of the Bridger Gondola
- Meet at Kids Ranch 9 a.m.
- All Pioneers Lessons start at 9 a.m. and students must be picked up at 3 p.m.
- Lift tickets are complimentary for ages 3 & 4
- Lunch is included
