Fall is legendary for fly fishing in Jackson Hole. Whether a seasoned angler or a novice, you’ll be dazzled by the scenery as you float on the clear waters of the Snake River along the dramatic Tetons. […]
It’s been over a week since Jackson Hole Mountain Resort closed out the winter 2012/2013 season. And what a fantastic season it was! The Mountain recently reported that the season was ended with the highest level of skier and rider visits in the resort’s history, with a total of 502,222 visits! Only 17 to 20 resorts reach the 500,000 each year, so this is quite the accomplishment!
With the winter behind us (current forecasts aside), we can’t help but look forward to spring and summer in Jackson Hole. A time filled with afternoons spent floating down the Snake River with a fishing pole in one hand and a cold beverage in the other. A time spent grilling out on the patio until well into the evening with the sun still high in the sky. A time to explore the beauty and majesty of the area’s National Parks and surrounding mountains. Most locals will tell you they came to Jackson for the winter and stayed because of the summer. After a great ski season, it’s hard to imagine things get much better around here, but trust me, they do.
With the off season upon us, we look forward with anticipation and eagerness to welcome you to our home and show you why summer time in Jackson truly is all it’s cracked up to be!
